A flashover container is generally used to simulate real fire conditions in confined spaces. It is the basis for practical training of firefighting units. To expand the training possibilities and availability of the container, a similar solution in virtual reality has been developed with the support of a voice instructor on an artificial intelligence platform. These are not defined scenarios, but a real simulation of the behavior of water with fire in confined space.
A basic set of VR equipment (computer + VR glasses, preferably Meta Quest) is required for training. We will supply an interactive 3D jet with a 3-year rental license. Our delivery also includes a manual not only for the technical operation of the VR application, but also instructions on how to properly extinguish in VR FOK.
Now on the Meta Quest 3 platform, everything runs in glasses only and no powerful computer is needed. Nevertheless, you can transfer the image online to any mobile device (cell phone, laptop) so that your colleagues or the instructor can observe you.
In a VR container, training is done in a similar way as in a physical container. You can observe the basic principles of burning and fire behaviour in a confined space in the "observation" mode. In the second mode, the "learning" phase takes place with the support of an AI guru (AI-based instructor), and finally, you can test the acquired skills in the intervention mode. You have a limited amount of oxygen there, and time is running out for you until the fire is finally extinguished.
